I just finished up my 1st semester in Nursing School. I study a lot. The kids notice this, but they don't usually say much. I came home one night, the week before my final exams, and find the following written on the white board in the play room:
"Daddy rocks!" (with a smiley face)
"Mommy studies" (with a frowney face)
It just killed me. Hopefully, when my schooling is all said and done, the kids won't remember the time that I spent studying instead of playing with them.
Sigh.
